The Pando Initiative does many things in Wichita and across Kansas to help children thrive at school. But they've long struggled with explaining everything the organization does to help them get more funding and volunteers to drive their mission. They also needed a new website that was easy for them to maintain and update with the latest information.
Communicating a Unique Mission
Copy and website organization were key to ensuring we hit the mark, so we started with a strategy session with key team members to ensure we got the message correct. We then worked to match the branding they had been creating with their print pieces in the design, reflecting a professional and fun look to match the K-12 students they help.
We built the site within WordPress to allow their team to make changes to slides and news articles as needed and help them maintain and adjust pages as required. With a growing organization, they needed the ability to make changes on their own.
The website was built to provide a great user and accessible experience for everyone who visits the site – from parents, to educators, to donors.
